People's Daily Online, Shanghai, March 4th. From March 2nd to 4th, the "Ximing Unmanned Refraction Cabin," a product of Ximing (Jiangsu) Optical Technology Development Co., Ltd., was showcased at the 24th China (Shanghai) International Optics Fair. The unmanned refraction cabin exhibited this time features a closed cabin design and utilizes the XM-93 self-service optometry system for independent operation. Users can complete the optometry process by following the on-screen prompts.
The unmanned optometry cabin adopts a closed cabin design and realizes self-service operation through the XM-93 self-service optometry system. Users can complete the optometry process independently according to the on-screen prompts.
"Ximing Unmanned Refraction Cabin" Makes an Appearance
With the growing demand for myopia prevention and vision health management, traditional optometry methods have limitations in terms of efficiency, privacy, and scenario adaptability. Shi Jian, head of Ximing Technology, stated that the unmanned refraction cabin adopts a closed, silent, and intelligent light control design, isolating external interference to allow the eyes to relax more, ensuring more accurate data, and an efficient and private process.
According to on-site introductions, optometry data is synchronized to the Palm Ximing APP via the cloud, which can generate user profiles and support report interpretation and recommendations for lenses, frames, and other products. A single optometry process takes approximately 3 to 5 minutes.
The self-service operation mode can be widely used in diverse scenarios such as optical shops, hospitals, community service centers, and office buildings, making professional optometry services readily accessible." Shi Jian stated that in the future, they will continue to optimize product functions, expand application scenarios, and promote the implementation of self-service optometry services in more cities, providing the public with more convenient and accurate overall solutions for vision health.
Attracting Numerous Merchants to Stop and Experience
At the exhibition, a video fully demonstrated the entire process of users entering the cabin, undergoing testing, and obtaining reports. The operation was intuitive and convenient, attracting numerous merchants to stop and experience. Some eyewear store practitioners believe that self-service optometry equipment is expected to become an important direction for upgrading offline stores. Ophthalmic professionals also suggest that such equipment has application potential in scenarios like vision screening.
